Dani Wyatt's latest book ticked all of my boxes when it comes to reading smut with a bit of kink and forbidden romance added into the mix. It's a bit of a no brainer read because it focuses more on the sexual relationship between Lexie and Marshall. As with most books in this genre, the chemistry was immediate and intense. Marshall wanted Lexie the moment he laid his eyes on her and she was similarly attracted to him as well. The story begins with Lexie overhearing about a rather salacious auction regarding one's virginity in exchange for money. Goaded into betting against her friends, Lexie decides to attend this event. At the same time, Marshall is heading to the same event without realizing what it was. Initially furious over the auction, Marshall is blindsided and loses all of his inhibitions when he meets Lexie. What happens next as these two banter and tease each other will have you swooning and squirming in your seats."I'll take care of you tonight. I'll ruin you tomorrow."I loved how Lexie was confident and such a natural when interacting with Marshall despite it being her first time. The heat and sexual chemistry between these two was simply intoxicating. Marshall was a likeable hero and I especially enjoyed how we were given glimpses of his past as a foster child. He yearned for a family and he finally found it in Lexie. In the end, I enjoyed Selling Her Virtue because it had everything I was looking for—a sexy and blazing hot story. I highly recommend Dani Wyatt's steamy stories to fans of Alexa Riley and Jessa Kane, especially if you like your heroes possessive, dirty, and rough around the edges with a heroine who is innocent but knows exactly what she wants. You will not be disappointed.
